I picked up four prompts for springkink.  A nice mixture, two yuri, one yaoi and one het.  Also no incest or rape.  I’m trying not to indulge my dark side.  Below are my prompts and the dates they’ll be posted on—

 

07/01/07 #71-- X/1999 - Karen/Arashi: Both people being in love with someone else, but having sex with each other - "Some say the world will end in fire, some say in ice"

 

07/11/07 #62. Wizard of Oz series, Dorothy/Ozma: Exploration, "Just because she's innocent doesn't mean she's not curious."

 

07/15/07 #56-- Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austen, book, movie or miniseries), Mr Darcy/Mr Bingley: Roleplaying - "Would you care to dance?" (done)

 

07/16/07 #43-- New Mutants, Doug (Cypher)/Betsy(Psylocke): Resurrection - "You've changed, but not enough for it to matter." (done)

 

In addition to these I am writing two stories for yuri_challenge which will be due by 06/30/07.

Revolutionary Girl Utena, Juri/Kozue - Wrath - "I am reckless what I do to spite the world."(done)

 

And as if this wasn’t enough I also signed up for the lupin_snape June Challenge:The Dark Side of Lupin/Snape (okay, so much for trying not to indulge my dark side).  My prompt  is the quote “The bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone.” – Harriet Beecher Stowe.  (done)  I have a few ideas for a story.  In several of my previous stories I’ve had  Snape display disordered eating and anorexic symptoms but never focused on it.  This time I may delve into the subject.  There’s actually are a few elements in canon that could support writing a story like this—In OoTP it’s stated that Snape never eats with the rest of the Order for instance.  I’ll have to see how things develop.

 

Of course I continue to have outstanding claims at 20_fatesand 20_sacrifices  as well as on-going claims at 100_women, 12_stories, 15pairingsand ficalbum. 

 

After finally finishing up a bunch of claims (The Dreamers for slashfest, a slave story for thematic_hp, my claim on Sumeragi Subaru from Tokyo Babylon/x1999 for everyfiveyears, and a Snape/Karkaroff story for summerborn’s 2007 Snape Rare Slash-a-thon that I’ll be posting on 03/17/07) I was determined not to make any more commitments for a while.  However this resolve did not last long and I’ve managed to sign up for a whole new slate of projects.

 

 

These include who X/1999 piece for 20_fates, one focusing on Karen/Aoki/Yuuto (done-- The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea)and one focusing on Kanoe/Satsuki/Yuuto (let’s face it, Yuuto gets around).  Keeping with the theme of threesomes I signed up for a piece on the Loveless characters 7/Ritsu/Nagisa at 20_sacrifices. 

 

 

Then last night yaoi_challenge put their unclaimed prompts up for grabs and I took two of them.  One is for a very off beat pairing of minor characters in a series that is at least fairly popular but the other is for a one shot manga that I really like but which has no fandom to speak of.  In short both projects are the totally obscure and will no doubt garner two or three comments betwixt them if I’m lucky.  Alas, that is the sort of project I live for. (dropped- I feel extremely guilty about this but I couldn't get either idea to jell).

 

Also I want to try my first Yami no Matsuei story.  It's for fic_on_demand.  The request was for a fun, fluffy  BDSM Hisoka/Tsuzuki story (done-- Sweetness Follows) with Hisoka as seme.   Now Hisoka on top won't be a stretch for me, I can totally see that.  It's keeping things light that will be a real challenge for me.  I've written some sweet yuri stories but my yaoi stuff tends to be positively angst ridden.  Still, I don't want to write only one kind of thing and this is a  chance to try something new and different.
