After the Hallows

My Harry Potter Fan Fiction in a Post-Deathly Hallows Fandom

I haven’t been writing very much Harry Potter fiction over the past few months because I wanted to see how the series ended, who lived, who died, what secrets were revealed and where true loyalties lay.  Now I’ve finished the book and hope to pick up again.

 

 

Finished, damn.  Quite an experience.  I hardly know where to start.

 

The pace picks up.  Tons of stuff happens in just a few chapters. 

Not half-way through and my nasty little mind is already starting to come up with fic scenarios based on the new information.  I have noticed lately that I approach all books, movies, comics/manga and television shows potential source material.

 

 

As usual I’m a bit behind the curve, most people seem to have read the book through on Friday night and I’m only to the end of Chapter 8.

( Chapter 1-8 (SPOILERS) )

T'was a year ago today that I posted my first fan fiction story, a piece called  Wanted set in the Prison Break fandom.  

Since then I've written a whole heck of a lot in a bunch of fandoms including books, film, anime/ manga, comic books and television.  Gen, het, slash and femslash from G to NC-17.  

So on this, the first anniversary of my fan fiction addiction I'd like to thank everyone who has friended my journals, commented on my stories, or read my stories.

I'd also like to thank my beta-reader, Nzomniac who I've been working with since May of 2006.  I have a learning disability and am terrible at spelling and grammar so without Nzomniac's help my stories would probably be fairly incoherent.  Further, she has been constantly supportive and non-judgmental even though I've often gone to very dark places in my stories.  So thank you Nomniac for everything you've done over the past months.

Writing these stories and sharing them with others has meant a great deal to me.  I'm grateful to have this forum for my work.
